2)Subtotal thyroidectomy

-Reccurent laryngeal nerve injury
-Life threatening post op haematoma
3)Radioiodine
Reserved for older ages & surgical failures
Risks: 80% risk of hypothyroidism.
4) Beta Blockers
used to control symptoms of tachycardia etc
until antithyroid treatments start to take effect."
